Just so everyone knows, life is better when your laughing! *plus your burning calories!

I know I haven’t been good about actually putting up advice, but I have been trying. I promise the next post will be something good and useful!

So I know YOLO has died, but I want to say that many people take YOLO the wrong way. The way I see it, YOLO is an opportunity to do things that scare you, to live as if you were going to die, to be who want to be… and thats why I like YOLO. I don’t it as an excuse to get high and wasted. I use it as an excuse to go skydiving, because I have wanted to but am too scared.
With me being a senior, I have realized that in the last 4 years I have been trying to hard to be something I am not. This year, I promised myself that I was going to do things that I wanted to do and not worry about what other people were going to say. I have to tell you, it is not easy and I constantly feel like someone is mocking me every step of the way. It’s that feeling that keeps me going. It sounds weird, but in my head I see it as an opportunity to show someone that they can’t mess with me. I LOVE seeing someone’s face when I do something they thought I couldn’t do. I LOVE the satisfaction I get from doing it too!
I guess my point is, although YOLO has died… don’t forget to live your life to the fullest. That is what YOLO means to me.

So, I have been slacking on my routine lately. I could blame it on school because it started, but it actually is my fault.

Keep Calm and Carry On:
No matter what happens, stay clam and try to move on. The more you stress, worry, and think about what your situation is, the worse you will become. Keep calm and carry on.

Never Back Down

So, I watched this movie and it was AMAZING! I thought about my own life and how I tend to give up and back down, especially when it gets hard.

If something is hard, or it seems hard… Try It! Do it for yourself! Prove to yourself, that you can do anything!

Recently, I went to my family ranch. My family was there working on the new barn and pavilion that was being put in. I had a job that I NEVER thought I could do, using heavy power tools! If anything, I would have rather been cleaning the toilets, painting the wood, ANYTHING! But I sucked it up, and guess what! I did it! No one thought that I could actually do it, but I did! I got more done on that pavilion then I would have imagined, and I got a workout too!

I promise that after your done, you will feel such self satisfaction! I had no idea, how good it would feel to do something that you had no idea you could do!

Let me know! Has this ever happened to you?

True! It’s scary, but it could be worth it! That is up for you to decide!

Being Your Best Self: Who you can be

I am writing today to all those young kids out there, to all those high school seniors, to the girls who are pregnant, to those kids who feel they are just a spot in the world, to the picked on kids, to the kid that is now dead because they felt they had no other choice, to the kid out on the street fighting to be alive, to the kid that has everything they could possibly want, to the college drop out, to the “Popular” kids, and the list goes on and on.

Everyone has experiences that make them who they are. The way you think, act, talk, your actions, are all determined by the life you have lived. I am here to tell you that there is no such thing as a perfect life. In grade/middle/high school, there will be those kids that tease you. Heck, there will always be someone out there teasing you. Anyway… Whether you are the bullied or the bully, please remember that your actions will come back to haunt you. After your depression wears off, you will realize that you wasted time moping. After high school is over, you will always be reminded of how mean you were or reality will set in and you will realize that your not all that and a bag of chips. After you have had the baby, you will realize that being a parent is not as easy as it seems. After all your schooling is done, you will realize that you have so many choices.

So many people don’t know the potential they have, and they throw it away to do something that is natural to who they are. The truth is, you have work at being the best you. If you want to be someone or do something with your life, you have to do the work to get there. It is very easy to just give up, and be a nobody. The world is FILLED with nobody’s and you can go join them if you want to. However, the world is also FILLED with somebody’s. I promise you, this is where you want to be.

I want you to know that the has so many doors. Doors that lead to different things. Sometimes you open the wrong one, and sometimes you open the right one. Utilize every door you have to your advantage. Lock some doors, open others, close some doors that are too small. You have the potential to be what ever you want to be. Please choose wisely, and make wise choices. Life gets better, but only if you make it better.

Have the Strength to Keep Going

Yesterday was all about the start to being fit. Today will be about the start to being strong!

Being strong means different things to everyone. To me, your strong when you do something that is uncomfortable. Your strong when you prove to yourself that you can do something someone else said you couldn’t. Your strong when you overcome a hard trial in your life. Your strong when you give up your pride to ask for help. Your strong when you cry in front of people (I cannot do this one!). Your strong when you work so hard at something you really want.

My motivation for being strong? Well, it depends on the situation. I would say just keep your head up, and know that someone is always watching over you. That someone could be your parents, it could be another family member, maybe even God, who ever! I promise you, that someone is ALWAYS rooting for you to succeed in what ever you want to do! I am rooting for you, and I don’t even know you!

Motivating yourself is very difficult, and there will be times that you think to yourself “I cannot bear to do this one more day!” But if you bear it for one more day, think of how life can only get better. When I was younger, my favorite movie was Fievel an American Tail: Fievel Goes West. That movie taught me to “Never Say Never!” (HAHA! Justin Bieber must have liked this movie too!) The movie also taught me that when you are at your lowest, it can only get better from there!

I hope that you find the strength to keep going, and I promise to you that I will be very real in each and every post! I will let you know when I have a bad day, so that you know I am human! I will let you know of my insecurities, of my fears, and of my mistakes! This is a blog where I hope you can trust me, and I hope I can you!

Leave me a comment, or go to the Ask Me! tab and tell me what being strong means to you! Let me know how you stay strong!
